The truck is a no-go... thanks all!!!

After a most excellent report and examination by BV, I've determined the whole is worth less than the parts, and the truck's not going to be mine.



I'll resume the search...

Other than it being a 1st gen and a 12V

BV didn't mention it all... Apparently, under the dash is scotchlocked together. The truck reeks of mold and mildew. The steering wheel has several inches (GADS!!!) of play. It leaks engine oil from many places, the antifreeze was very rusty looking, the passenger door doesn't work, the bed is beat up, the floor inside the cab is rusting out, the seats are not original and are not properly mounted, leaving holes and it's loose... .



The body has been wirewelded back together where it has cracked from impacts and seems to be dented almost everywhere.





Many electrical things do not work, and the engine runs very rough, too. The injection pump leaks fuel badly, as do the injectors...



Basically, it's a wreck.



But 1st gen and 12V are just fine with me

Forgot to add... . It needs the 5th gear fix. NV4500 bad.



Maybe it'll go cheap?

The club cab is mandatory. I cannot even consider anything else. Unless it was a crew... though I did find a 91 crew conversion diesel, but it was out of price range. 14K
