I have a problem with the truck when I turn the comp box on 5x5 and hit the gas. It feels like surging (cutting in and out). Just like if you hold the throttle in the same position and your upping the power box from 1 to 2 to 3 and so on it has a surging feeling on 5x5 and you start to get into it. I have 15 psi for fuel at WOT.

do you think the VP44 is going bad (about 1500 miles since I pierced the wire) (blue chip pump cover). Or is the box going bad?

What do you guys think???

any info would be great

Could be the box or could be the connections at the pump, I had the same symptoms with mine by I don't have the BCPC. Mine ended up being the ground wasn't grounding well enough, I moved it to the battery and everything has been fine since. In my quest for an answer though I found that alot of people with this problem had a BCPC and a comp and the problem was usually with the screw backing out. I think TMTT may have had this problem???? Search the forums you'll find alot of pump cover surging issues but they can be fixed. Hope this helps you. Tim
