I just put the window fix on my truck and it's soooooo much nicer the windows work all the time.

I was going to post it right after the wife and I finished our morning coffee this morning. However, after we were interupted by a sound kinda like a lighting bolt hitting the house, which made me run out to the front porch and see a dumptruck had just passed the house with the roll up cover frame standing straight up. #ad

Needless to say, my telephone line was now wrapped around his truck which was now pulling away from the stop sign and going across 4 lanes of route 460 with the other end still attatched to the pole... ..... for a minute... ... BOING... ... SNAP!!!. #ad

He kept going and I ran around the side of the house to find that he had ripped the line loose from the anchor at the peak of the house which then pulled the entire junction box off the side of the house, which pulled the ground cable from the j-box to a 4' rod in the ground tight and luckily the phone wire to the pole broke. Thus sending it bunji-style into escape velocity! Good news is, all 3 vehicles in the driveway didn't get a scratch. Oh yeah, the ground wire also snagged the outside clothes dryer vent, yanking it out the wall, and I had also ran the anntenna coax for my police scanner thru the wire anchor at the peak of the house which was the one that's half way to Saturn by now. ... ... ... . You guessed it... ... snatched the coax out of my scanner which ... again..... luckily, I had taken off the table in front of the window 2 days ago, otherwise it probably would have exited out the window.
Sorry for the long post, but that's my excuse for not posting the diagram that Rich emailed me... ... ... ... . It Really Happened
I'm on the work PC now and I'll try it again tonight when I get home since the wife called and said the phone man had just left.

I made a copy of it, and I will put it in my 98 Dodge file.

I'll do the fix, over the holidays.

It will just be one more PITA things I won't have to deal with anymore, thanks to TDR.
