Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Somewhere in the Moses Lake, WA area.
At the end of my vacation, I took my travel trailer back up to Grand Coulee for a few more weeks of being lived in, and in Moses Lake, there's a stretch where the highway is four lane, and has a speed limit of 45, but has about 3 or 4 traffic lights in a row.
At the last light, this 12V ram that had been following me, pulling a flatbed trailer with a small diesel tractor on it got into the other lane... the inside lane.
When the light turned green, he had the engine revved, and started rowing gears, taking it to redline in every gear. And, right behind him was about 4 or 5 cars. Before we got across the street at the intersection, he had gotten to where the front of his bed was even with my front bumper... But at 45 MPH, I had gone past him, and gotten the back of the trailer just ahead of his truck. There were 2 or 3 guys in the truck, and I'm sure he intended to totally beat me to the point where the road narrows to 2 lane... but when we got there, he was STILL well behind me.
He let up just as we got to the narrowing part. . I know, his turbo quit screeching... . I could hear it that far
Funny part was, he could easily have outrun me at highway speeds, just not off the line...
