thermocouple leads

I am looking for a type k thermocouple that has 2 sets of leads on it. I am about to install a Banks Git kit on my truck. Part of their system requires a pyrometer hookup to the Ottomind "box". Their techies say that in order to use my current pyro gauge, I need to find a 4 wire lead. Simply piggybacking the wires won't work. They also tell me that this type of lead does exist. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated as my wife is beginning to groan at the amount of $$$ my mild bombing spirit is costing. (she found out i just bought the Psychotty air system too)

I'm not sure why you need a 4 wire connection. I have the Banks Git Kit (but I also installed their Pyro) so I didn't have to do any modifications. The wiring harness and thermocouple leads as supplied by Banks worked just fine.

I have access to thermocouples and I will have one manufactured for you if you like.



It's called a "dual" thermocouple. 2 seperate t/c's located within a single thermocouple sheath.



The cost is around $50. 00

Thanks for the info jstyer. I will look at the package when it gets here to see if my pyro can be hooked up to it. I'm now curious as to why the Bank's rep didn't tell me this to start with, unless only their pyro works with their system. If for some reason mine won't, then I will email Bob Wagner about the dual t/c (also, thank you for the offer)
