I need thermostat part # 05015708AC. Dealership wants 93. 00 for one. Anywhere else to buy one, cheaper? Sorry about the spelling. Soundslike tweety bird.

I went online & got one, I think $15. I stayed with 196 degree, the gauge reads 180 to 185? I paid $100 for a tstat, water pump, anti-freeze & distilled water.

The thermostat I have listed is unique. It is a replacement for the original. It satisfies TSB 09-008-02. OEM part only. I found one in Colorado for 68. 00 delivered. Thanks guys, Ron

If it helps someone else reading this thread, the correct Cummins part number for the Mopar 05015708AC thermostat is 3946849. The Cummins price is currently about $60-$70.

To which thermostat are you referring, 05015708AC?

185 deg.

I did change antifreze & termo to 185 deg. last month, down south went pulling camper. I was seeing 200-205 deg. know full load at 98 deg outside, I am seeing 190 deg. (napa parts)
