Well Kat, looks like you need to go over and correct all the miss information, since based on your comment none of the TDR guys now have any creditability :rolleyes:

Well if the information is wrong, how can it be crediable? I just don't want misinformation out there.

Not saying "your" wrong. But until "you" set the record straight I don't think anything that was posted over there by any TDR member will be believed, (that is if anybody really cares) Personally I think it is a waste of time trying to educate guys that drive FWD cars on the finer points of power and performance. If they want a performance car they need to start with RWD and if they want a performance "sleeper" vehicle get a CTD. JMHO
 
Diesel Dynamics is now running 11. 96@110mph on a street driven daily driver.



Wrong, its not driven daily with those injectors, for daily driving Mark puts in DDII's which he absolutly loves.



My engine will last 300k-1million miles



Sorry it won't last near as long at this power level... I'd say you would be happy to get 250,000 to 300,000 miles out of it. You've double the factory horsepower, hence you shortened the life of the engine.



These drag races are on street tires and in many cases the trucks are not modified in any way once they get to the track.



Slicks are more common (Jim Fuller and HVAC). Weight is dropped at the track by some, tailgates, spare tires etc.



I had Stage 3 injectors before(100hp over stock). the new ones are off the Stage scale but should be 250hp injectors. At my hp level I won't gain the 150hp but I'll get a good bit of it.



You might be in for a surprise once you dyno, once you add nitrous its a different story tho.

Personally I'd leave'em in the dark about our performannce abilities..... let'em find out on the streets or at the dragstrip. Its much more satisfying when a Corvette owner gives ya a thumbs up because he couldn't beat you... . or a Mustang, or a Camaro.



And since you have an ETH, I think you are being a bit optomistic with your power level. Be interesting to see what you dyno at.

I'm impressed Kat, and well represented by your comments.



Remember, we are the only ones that know we have hot-rods. When I first read this post and their posts, I wanted register as Mullet, then tell them that they joke about us screwing sheep, but they won't think it's too funny getting screwed by a RAM! Of course challenging them to a race, hopefully one near Indiana.

But I didn't, just keeping in mind that it is much more satisfactory when they compliment me at the track. I don't want those ******* to drive a Cummins Ram, that's what the DuraMax is for! So no need to tell them all the cool things that come from owning these trucks, they drive spark plug impaired ricers, they won't understand and I am not a professor of sorts.
 
Geeeeez..... now you guys went into their playground and let our "cat-outta-the bag"



Now CTDs are gonna be harder to find, there's gonna be a glut in the "used ricer" market, and all those aftermarket manufacturers are gonna start building huge wings ,spoilers, and japanese symbol graphics for CTD pickups.



Do you think they can attatch a 24" dia. chrome exhaust tip on a Cummins and make it sound like a kazoo?:{

Well. . Sparky and I had I dentical mods. . He dyno'd at 461 at MM. I added MUCH bigger injectors. . I'd bet on having 40hp worth of improvement.



You have BDIVs. . right? My injectors make them look, well small;):D We'll find out for sure in Muncie. Bet a beer on it?

Like I said you might be surprised. If "big" injectors are best... how come some of the "big" hp guys can't beat my truck on #2 only? I only have little Stage IV's. Just something I observed is all. When you add nitrous then it changes things.



One post you said its 500hp... another post you said 550hp... . you said 300 hp over stock, that would be around 525hp ... .



How long do you feel your injectors will last?



The difference on the white DD truck and my truck were the injectors and the VP44... . they did 580 hp on diesel I think? I did 512. 5hp... . so say 60hp for the pump (website says 75) and I am right there with them with just the pump... and my "small" injectors.



But if we add the same amount of nitrous to both trucks as is..... the DD truck would trounce me.



BTW how old are your DDIII's... and are you selling them?
 
You get "thumbs-ups" from Corvettes, Camaros, and Mustangs, Kat? All I ever get is a middle finger. :D BUT..... I have to say, I DO get a lot of thumbs-up from the ricer boys & girls, it always surprised me for some reason. And I'm impressed by the civility most of them maintained when we invaded their website. That is the epitome of maturity & cool on the part of most of them, no matter what anybody says.

I made 212 stock so +~300hp=~500hp



HVAC did 600 w/o a moded pump. . I hope to get w/in 100hp of him.



I have a bigger turbo than your AT4. if that's what you're runnin now.



Then add bigger injectors. We should be in the same ball park. I'll put my money on somewhere in the 5's ... 550 is wishful thinking but not unreasonable. You have to set a lofty goal now and again.
