NEW Dodge M80 Concept Truck...

Redwing Boots???

1. It is the big-rig hijacking capitol of the world. (The current weapon

of choice is pepper spray. )

2. Gang members.

3. Way too many Idiot Liberals. ("Toe-tag Liberals"... which

means no amount of reason can change their minds... they will

stay Liberal until they die. )

4. L. A. Times. (Left-Wing Commie, Anti-family, Pro-Immigration, etc. etc. )

5. Housing prices.

6. Diesel price... always 20-30% higher than in the Midwest.

7. Big, Fat, Sexually Confused, Female, City-Gov. Liberal Bureaucrats who

hate guys with Diesel Trucks.

8. When I work on my truck and get a little greasy, and then have to go get

a part or some food or something, people look at me like I'm

homeless scum. ("Eeaugh..... he's got dirt on his arms. ")

9. Evil Poor People. (There are a LOT more E. P. P. , armed with . 25 Cal.

pistols than there are evil rich people armed with brief cases. )

10. If your truck has a Confederate flag, the vehicle WILL get vandalized.

Sorry about the rant, but I grew up in the 1950's & 60's, farm-poor in

S. W. Missouri. (Can you say No Indoor Plumbing!)--(You had to make that run to the outhouse FAST in cold weather. ) My Pop never taught us to hate rich people, or try to collect welfare. He taught us to WORK.

I Know What You Mean !

After working down there I swore if I never was there again, it would be too soon. It still beats Frisco though. I have always thought the only way to improve SF was to push brush around it and burn it.

I was there once for one night. After being raised in Alaska it was all I could handle. My advice to you is to move far away if possible.

I laughed my 3. 54 off reading that. For years I kept one of those big orange, tie-on life preservers in my closet here, just in case L. A. fell off into the Ocean in a beeg Earthquake. But alas, it never happened.

When I came to L. A. , in 1978, things were GOING to Hades but they hadn't yet gone there. After 20+ years of 100,000 plus immigrants pushing, pushing, pushing their way in EVERY YEAR , I can safely say things have completely gone to Hades.

I got to transfered to LA in Oct. of '72 and it took me until Dec. of '73 to escape:D. I couldn't see raising a family down there. It was bad then and is much worse now. I had to go back on business twice between '74 and '95 - never again. I wont even drive in CA unless there is no way around it.

You could not imagine how nice LA was in the 1950's, did'nt even have freeways yet. The problem is too many people moved there.

I vowed to get out by my 18th birthday, was a few years later before I made it out. Now, we avoid going there except for a necessary business trip twice a year.

I think it is just like having too many rats in a cage, they turn on each other to survive.

I used to live there too and if they removed all liberals, politicians and people that wont work for a living (welfare types) it would be an awsome place to live. The weather is wonderful and its a beautiful state in many ways but as usual too many people screw it up. Take any really good place and over populate it and it turns crappy quick.

Don't think it's better here on the East.

Yeah, same fudge different stink over here. Too many people with too much time and money... . whew, at least I'm not one of them

Been there done that!

Went to San Diego for my first tour in the Navy and spend some time in L. A. (aunt) I was ready to go to Lemoore before taking orders here in OKC, If I had to go back I believe I would just say by to the 10 years I've been in, That place sucks and everyone is an *******, you can't even greet someone without them looking at you like your freak show, as a Texas boy I was taught to greet people and do it with a smile and when a lady walked in through a door YOU held it open, try that in L. A.

LA

Like emarsh says, it was really nice. I was born in LA and lived near Knotts Berry farm. It really was a berry farm in the early 40's. and lots of wide open country. Moved to cold rainy Oregon in '48 haven't looked back since. (Do miss that warm sunshine thoe)

Don't want to make you feel home sick but I live in SW Missouri (I call it Gods Country) Reminds me of the time period when I grew-up in Independence Missouri in the 50's and 60's. Before I retired and moved here from Atlanta (also a big high crime crowded city) I had people reporting to me in LA and had to go there on business often. I have to agree, it is a city of diverse cultures :D . I understand that it has great weather if the SMOG would ever clear :) . At least in Georgia you can legally carry a loaded hand gun in your glove compartment without a permit. You can also carry a concealed weapon with a carry permit and if you are not a convicted criminal they are easy to get and only cost $15. 00 for 4 years. I would not feel safe living in LA without carrying a concealed weapon, like maybe an AK47 :D .

Yeah Big Toy, I understand. I always though I'd like to have a pair of water-cooled . 50 calibers mounted on my truck. (... Just cut me off ONE MORE TIME Mr. Immigrant Gang Member... )

RRausch,

Looks to me like it is way past time to move away from the LA area. It may prove to be the best thing for your overall health and well being. People should live and breath day to day in the company of others of the same culture.

LA is going to change, but it wont be for the better, its gonna get worse. Considering the shifting demographics and the here-to-stay-majority of immigrants, youll have distant and vague memories of the LA you have now. Let me re-iterate, it IS over!

LA will not be getting any better. The LA experiment in liberty for all, undefined boarders, and ever expanding populace of Hispanics is reeling uncontrollably toward something you dont want to be a part of. The parasites are outnumbering the hosts and are breeding out of control. I know it, you know, most all know it. For the ones who dont know it, you need to start paying closer attention, for your own newspapers, television networks and movie studios are going to work overtime to make sure you dont find out. LA is awash in the unwashed. Example: “Arizona is approaching Mississippi in the percentage of people living at or near poverty, and it's the direct result of a high level of immigration," said Steven A. Camarota, research director of the Center for Immigration Studies. The Washington, D. C. -based think tank estimated that Arizona is home to about 630,000 immigrants, both legal and illegal. The total exploded 126 percent since 1990, more than three times the rate of the state's 40 percent overall growth. Today, one of eight Arizona residents is foreign born, compared with one in 13 a decade ago. The percentages of immigrants in Arizona who receive government benefits are DOUBLE that of U. S natives in that state.

Am I getting through here? Can we shoot em all? No - we can’t even deport em. We are going to feed, clothe, medicate and educate them and then send them off to the polls where they can vote more government to seize our land and money for their relatives back home. THOSE are our choices. And George knows it.

Why do you think he wanted to let 6 to 8 million of 'em have amnesty? Could it be votes?

RRausch, I like White-Anglo-American morality and self-governance. Its what I was taught. White Christian values were good to my family and me. Men married women, and stayed to raise their children. Our houses were unlocked. Ditto for mailboxes. Car keys were left on the seat. My horse lived in the paddock behind my bedroom window. We built our own home and lived without debt. Mom was the welcome wagon hostess; Dad was the cook out chef. We did not pre-pay our gas. I dont want to live in a town were enough customers steal their gas, that we all have to pay the price at the pump. YOu should not live in one either.

In an aside. . I remember once, the sheriff came into the local bar and restaurant to tell everybody to "Listen UP!" His big announcement was that he WOULD start prosecuting for car theft if locals kept taking somebody else's vehicle to drive home before closing. He shook his finger at all of us, saying he was sick of hunting for cars at 2 A. M, just because somebody walked down to town, and then was too tired, or drunk, to walk home. [You gotta love a town like that. We were all guilty as charged. BUT, we told him; we ONLY took trucks from those who really deserved it. And hell, we left em just a few blocks up the hill -didn't we?]

That was youthful crime in homogenous white America. Its gone, for the most part and turned into car-jackings and drive-by- shootings from our new friends from the South.

I have zero problems with people of any color who share my values. The problem has never been melanin, but the toxicity of failed cultures of unlike peoples who are swamping the lifeboat of our Republic. The crime stats are irrefutable evidence that we need a breather from any more "diversity", foisted upon us by those caring multi-culturalists among us, with their double, and triple standards for behavior for all.

Move away!

And where California goes, so goes the rest of the country, eventually. However, if you do NOT embrace it, you are instantly labeled. Politicians wouldn't dare express this opinion or the media would instantly put an end to their careers. Even Seattle is too crowded for me. Unfortunately, the career I chose with the company I work for requires me to be near a major airport. My choices in the northwest are Seattle, Spokane, Portland, and Boise. Well, there is Anchorage and Great Falls, Montana, I might consider those places. I hope to retire in 17 years and I want to move to the boonies in either Montana, Idaho, north-central Washington, or maybe upper Michigan, as far away from it all as I can get!

Andy

edit: ... or eastern Oregon so I can be near Rob Hanson and Power Wagon! :D
