Things I hate about L.A.

If everone hates L. A. then why is the so many people here to mess with my life? As a fourth generation Californian and third generation Angeleno I can remember Ca and L. A. when it was much nicer than it is today. What I can say is if you don't like it don't complain about it, but do something to solve the problems.

You guys all raise a fuss and then surrender by moving away instead of staying and fighting to make this great place greater. All of the "commies and pinkos" know that they can take over here because nobody will put up the fight.

You cant win when the people that cause so much of the trouble dont have to go to work so they have time to cause trouble. And those of us that disagree with them seem to have a strong work ethic and dont have the time to be playing politics and if we didnt pay those taxes they couldnt do it to us any way but what can you do. I think So Cal is a great place for a lot of reasons and ended up back there everytime I moved away. There are so many really good areas of Calif that it would be easy to find a place where population pressure was minimal but the State government is something that I cant tolerate so there is no going back for me.

What I hate the most, is all the undesireables are hogging up the only areas of the country that are warm, year-round. Like L. A. , San Diego, Arizona, and a lot of Florida. Leaving us decent folk with no place warm to visit for a tropical holiday in the winter-time. Unless we spend the big bucks to fly to a resort located in the country these clowns just swam across from.

We packed the American Indians (my great-grandfather among them) off to reservations. Why can't we pack these illegals and legal newbies off to Nova Scotia or Iceland?

For me it is also about $$$. When the wife and I retired ( I was 49 at the time , ( don't hate me because I got out of the rat race ) we considered every part of the country. When we looked at how far our $$$ would go (along with other considerations) we ended up in SW Missouri. Example if you have an income of $70,000 per year it would cost you over $200,000 to have the same life style in LA. Now I know the weather is better BUT, give me a break!!! Like you guys are saying who wants to live in LA??? People where I live are real nice and know your name and it is beautiful. You have all four seasons but not like up north where you freeze your *** off for 4 plus months of the year . We also have other cultures which is great ( 3% of the pop. ). But we also have 5 Universities within 50 miles of my home and the largest city is Springfield Missouri Pop (125,000). The next largest city is KC Missouri and it is around 100 miles away. Life is great here in the country, why don't you guys move here and join me and we can start our own TDR chapter

Have you guys been to Taos, Santa Fe, or Raton NM lately? How about Durango, Pagosa Springs, Telluride, or Lake City CO? You could go to Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff, or Payson AZ too to see it. The exports from CA are wrecking them, bringing in their liberal socialist ideas, lack of morals and drugs. These are people with money, so no jobs. They do not need to work and their numbers are getting bigger everyday letting them take over the local goverments. The good news is they are making these places better for the poor backwards locals that don't know any better It is getting hard to find a nice place in the western states that is not having this happen. The decent people in CA need to start on a fence that will keep these people in, save the rest of the country from them. Andy is right, where CA goes the rest of the country will too, it is only a matter of time.

I write the President and I write my (Commie) Senators. Immigration will only end when ENOUGH people complain TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE.

E-mails won't do it.

Each time they get a letter on Immigration they make the assumption that there are about 100 to 1,000 MORE people out there who feel the same.

I really like L. A. Honest!!!

It is just the 600,000 Heespanic Gang Members, the 400,000 Asian gang Members and the 700,000 "Other" Gang Members, who, along with the

3 Million Illegal Aliens have clogged the streets, freeways, courts, etc. etc. etc. and make it a little difficult on us law abiding citizens.

The City with it's beautiful parks and Blvds. and Buildings and Ocean and Mountains is TRULY awesome. It is just the above 4. 7 Million Morons and about another 2 Million Liberals which make L. A. ugly.

I am an ERP Consultant, thats why I live 70 mi N of Tulsa, OK. That way I can fly to work on sunday evening in San Fransisco. The last gig was in Boston, both suck!!!



I have nothing agaist 1st gen immigrants, they are here for the jobs just like us. If they are more qualified, go for it. I have no pity or lost love for 2+ generation immigrants and illeagals that don't speak english FLUENTLY. Granted, many american born caucasians don't speak it well. I related to a bunch of them



I have issue with every large metropolis. They have a lack of family at home and in the community. It causes a whole generation of people who take no responsibilty for their actions and are dependent on society to support them because they can't support themselves.



There are a lot of GOOD people in the cities, they are just surrounded by a$$holes that give them a bad name and make it hard for them to live a good life.



My three kids(at last count) will grow up in rural america. they will feed my cow(yeah just one) and the horses, chickens, etc to come. they will know how to build a house and a barn from the gorund up, fix their cars, darn their socks, cook their meals,and clean their kills. They will have a 'CAN DO ANYTHING' attitude and I will teach all they need to be pillars of their community. The rest is up to THEM.



And then there's the liberal polititians, the tree huggers, pacifists etc... but thats another lengthy post

Am I getting through here? Can we shoot em all? No - we can’t even deport em. We are going to feed, clothe, medicate and educate them and then send them off to the polls where they can vote more government to seize our land and money for their relatives back home. RRausch, I like White-Anglo-American morality and self-governance. Its what I was taught. White Christian values were good to my family and me. Men married women, and stayed to raise their children. Our houses were unlocked. Ditto for mailboxes. Car keys were left on the seat. My horse lived in the paddock behind my bedroom window. We built our own home and lived without debt. Mom was the welcome wagon hostess; Dad was the cook out chef. We did not pre-pay our gas. I dont want to live in a town were enough customers steal their gas, that we all have to pay the price at the pump. YOu should not live in one either.



In an aside. . I remember once, the sheriff came into the local bar and restaurant to tell everybody to "Listen UP!" His big announcement was that he WOULD start prosecuting for car theft if locals kept taking somebody else's vehicle to drive home before closing. He shook his finger at all of us, saying he was sick of hunting for cars at 2 A. M, just because somebody walked down to town, and then was too tired, or drunk, to walk home. [You gotta love a town like that. We were all guilty as charged. BUT, we told him; we ONLY took trucks from those who really deserved it. And hell, we left em just a few blocks up the hill -didn't we?]



That was youthful crime in homogenous white America. Its gone, for the most part and turned into car-jackings and drive-by- shootings from our new friends from the South.

I have zero problems with people of any color who share my values. The problem has never been melanin, but the toxicity of failed cultures of unlike peoples who are swamping the lifeboat of our Republic. The crime stats are irrefutable evidence that we need a breather from any more "diversity", foisted upon us by those caring multi-culturalists among us, with their double, and triple standards for behavior for all.

Well, there IS a plus side to living in L. A. There are some really great, self-made people here. One can make $$ here. The weather is gorgeous most of the time--It is sunny and about 77? as I write this.

There was a good wind yesterday and all the smog blew out of the basin and you could see the mountains. I can go down and walk on the beach ANYTIME I want to... (Except at night when gang members are present because when they are... they consider it THEIR beach)

L. A. was mostly built by hard-working white guys who knew how to build. Of course, that type of worker is no longer very much available out here today, but they did build all through the 1920's 40's & 50's with an eye to proportion, beauty, strength and workmanship. Those buildings are much in evidence today and still command a premium for their grace and strength.

I havnt seen anybody here attack anybody for their race, its the behavior that seems to make so many unhappy. Its unfortunate that with any race that the buttheads are so visible and the good folks are to busy being normal to do all the bad things that get the negitive attention. If you havnt been to SoCal for any length of time you dont have a clue what we who have been there have had to deal with. The bottom feeders of society have destroyed so many things that are important to us and it will make you bitter towards those who are resposible for it.
