"Reese style". Since when did Reese bulid a hitch the whole way up to the cab??? DOH.

What kind of whacko talked you into that? Did your transfer case like it??:{:-{}:-laf;)

Ive torn class 5 hitches off of my trucks. That is for safety and it is a stock Dodge hitch. Your rules state we can add supports to it. Besides I told mike to shop for a t-case when he picked the truck up. LOLYou know me sleddy safety first.

Mike had an awsome hook last night. but the 1st truck in the class dropped back and came back to put it on Mikey. Man that guy realy new how to pull that truck when it came out the 2nd time.

Hitch:

The hitch must be a "Reese"-style hitch; reinforcements are permitted. Trick hitches are prohibited.

The hooking point must be the rear-most point on the vehicle and must be rearward of the stock

location of the tailgate. The hitch must be horizontal to the ground and stationary in all directions.

Bumpers may be notched or removed. The hitch's height from the ground may not exceed 26

inches. The hooking point must have a minimum 3. 00 inch inside diameter opening for the sled

hook. The hooking point will be measured to the center of the clevis loop.

Thanks Dave for the compliment but I technically got first. :-laf

To constitute an official pull, a truck must self-start, self-stage, hook and attempt to pull. For all

classes of competition, an individual truck cannot be used for multiple entries. Vehicles must remain in

one class with one registered driver for the duration of the event
.

Actually, I got that from Idaho ATVer's. A federal study showed that in most fatal ATV accidents, the last words from the victim were "oh s#*t", except in Idaho, "Hold my beer, and watch this"!

Jess

Those are my fatal words as well... ... ... ... ..... :rolleyes::eek::{#@$%!

Mikey, made another excellant hook (with his stock dodge trick hitch) last night in the street mod. class. Although he lost a ring and pinion and could not come back for the pull off,He did an excellant job driveing his truck and chose a good line. The last few hooks he has made have been the best Ive seen his truck pull to date. Good job Mike.

Thanks again dave Im getting better and better

I lost the spider gears but ill be at west end today with my newly homemade spool in the rear:)
