Sort of. You can increase torque at a low rpm, but once you transition into high rpm, you need good airflow to produce hp.

i never said restriction in the exhaust side produces power, i too did not bring the lobe overlap into the equation, i am sorry for the confusing info as you can tell, it can mean a lot of different things :-{}
