Think I might be on to something (new turbo)

Well BOY'S I think I might have a base to build my new turbo off of not sure how it will act or what it's going to take on the inside to make it a good charger but what the heck.

Looks like its off of a c engine 8. 3 you will have to move a lot of exhaust to move that baby

LOL the turbo off a C series engine 8. 3 is the small turbo pictured, a HX40-18. Thats what he already has bolted to his manifold:-laf . I'm not sure that big one would do very good as a single :--) :-laf .

Well, Im shipping the turbo out this week (i hope) to get it balanced and bearings put in it, and have an adapter plate made.



So now it's a waiting game, which will give me some time to come up with some down pipe stock and then it's FAB TIME wooohooooooo

What turbo is that, Partsman - a 55? Have you tested the pump or had the next batch of mods done on it?
