Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) thinking about injectors? Read this.

If you are thinking about gettin injectors, stop thinking and do it. I just added jammer 2's to my truck and that with the comp is sweet. I think i also fixed a boost leak at the intake gasket because i am gettin as much boost with just the injector as i used to get with just the comp. boost was 30lbs, now peaks at 38 and the backs off to about 34. temps get hot but not as bad as i expected, i think fixing the boost leak helped. smoke is there but mangable, little to no smoke with the box off. the install went pretty smooth, except for having to make the intake gasket since no one in town had one. number 6 is a pain and 5 is not much easier. the valve cover sucks and i tore the fiberglass on the firewall. truck started pretty quick, it turned over a few time before it fired and ran pretty rough for a second and smoothed right out. there is a slight lope occasionally, mostly when letting out on the clutch. Overall i m very impressed, if you are on the fence about injectors. . DO IT!!!
