Injectors

Will DD1's give about the same HP increase as 275's? I want to upgrade to as much power as the stock clutch will handle (300HP?) but not mess with potential warranty issues. The DD's cost more and you will also have to give up the OEMs or pay the core charge. I think I read somewhere that the DD's are matched to within 1% of each other. How important is that? Thanks.

To what tolerances are OEM Bosch injecters set to? Found them for 32. 00 per pop locally from the local VW parts house.

OEM calibration is what my truck came with so I figure OEM is close enuffff ! I will check them out before I install them just for grins.

The DD injectors are very closely matched. It gives a smooth idle and balanced cylinders. Bosch is not nearly as close, but they worked fine for ALL of us at one point or another. The stock injectors are Bosch BTW if anyone did not know.

DD1's will give about 15-20 HP more than 275's. They will smoke more and run a little hotter. DD1's and an EZ/VA/Puck will be reallllly close to 300HP at the rear wheels.

Thanks for all the replies but I think I'm just going with the 275's.

I know I could get more power with DD1's or 2's but I don't want to worry about EGT's and I want to give the trans a little break (no pun intended!).
