Hey I dont like how im interior pillars are that toupe color. I dont like tan/tope interior thats why I bought a graphite interior.

Anyways I'll just leave the headliner toupe but was thinking about painting the all three pillars Graphite, especially my future triple gauge pod.

Has anyone else done this?

Is the paint available?

Wernt there solid graphite 1/2 tons??

What do you guys think??

I haven't done the pillars but I have done gauge pods. The best thing to do is go down to your local autobody and paint supply store and have them pull the color code for your interior. They can then mix you the right color of paint and put it in a spray can. Ask them thier recommendations for cleaning the surfaces to be painted.

You could get the paint from an autobody paint supplier, Mar-Hyde is one of the products. You may have trouble getting a color match in a spray can though, if you are going to use a gun no problem. You can also get the correct color matched interior paint from a Chrysler dealer in spray cans. When you get the paint, scotch brite the plastic pieces to clean and rough them up for good paint adhesion. Also, just before you spray take a clean cloth with LIGHTLY applied laquer thinner to clean and degrease the parts. Go easy though, the laquer thinner will soften the plastic if left on too long. Then spray away with two or three coats. After drying for a day or two use a little Armor All or your interior spooge of choice and your new interior will look great.

Just to be in common agreeance it bugs the heck out of me that Dodge can't pick a frickin interior color. I had an 05 the was charcoal with grey pillars and headliner. I now have an 2006 with grey interior that is even more confused. It must have 4 interior colors through out. Online they sell a paint kit used for painting dashes. Do a search for dash paint. There are many suppliers. I thought Stylin concpts or Performance products sold a paint kit.
