Is there a big enough differance in anyone's opinion to go from my '05 (see sig) to an '06 megacab? They look really sweet but noone has one around here to even look at in the philly area.

Opinions / thoughts please?

ps can i reuse my edge juice ? or is it diff '05 to '06?

Just my opinion... With many Mega cabs around here, I wouldn't even consider one until they came out with an 8 foot bed. All they did was rob the short bed space to make the Mega Cab. If you are hauling more than 2 people for more than 2 hours at a time and don't care about a ridicoulously short bed, then you might like the Mega...

Cheers, Bill

There are plenty of them around here too.

You will not be able to reuse the Edge Juice The harness on the '06 is different. My AFE and Torque Tube did transfer over.

I like the extra room in the cab. My kids think there in a "Iowa Limo" now. The "ridiculously short" bed is perfectly fine for what I do. Not all of us haul sheets of plywood etc. around everyday. I went from a QC shortbed to a Megacab. The extra 2ft in the wheelbase seems to make for a better ride, other than the front springs bottom out more quickly.

There were many other changes for the 06 model. The truck is a lot quieter in the cab. Double seals on the doors eliminate all wind noise. Dodge added a "resonator" after the muffler that seems to have quieted the exhaust even more.

Best $500 I ever spent was on a 5' X 10' utility trailer with 14" wheels.

Best $40,000 I ever spent was on a Mega Cab.

The wife, 3 dogs and I love it.

D'Ambrosio in Downingtown has 2-3500 CTD, SRW 4x4 SLT Megas. 1 gray and 1 Blue. I sware I have seen more but that is all they show on there inventory. (the 1500's look like 2500 because they use the same frame I hear)

You want to ask for Danny Boyce (I think he is the fleet manager), Tell him Will Sent you (Will that's waiting on his truck Will). Expect to pay Dealer Invoice or less plus rebates. Danny is off Thursdays and gone for dinner between around 5:00-6:00pm

Well I did it. Just got an '06 2500 mega cab. Its still an SLT but it has leather and NAV and Sirius and they are painting my leer cap to match and transfering my wheels and tires (aluminum + bfg's with on 5K on them). Also moving my viper security system

got it for invoice minus 3K in give backs :-laf

Patriot blue this time, really my favorite color...

Love that extended interior Oo.

Plus 3K in give backs? I can only find $1500 on the mega's, plus maybe you got $500 for Farm, Is there something extra for our area I don't know about this month :) ?

Anthony d'ambrosio in elverson. they had one stick and one auto so it was a big choice but the auto had the nav system. invoice and 1500 +1500 for chrysler credit. Will refi in 90 days or so to get a better rate.

Anthony is a great guy, i hate his brother. ripped me off once

The rebates are $1500 for purchase + $1500 if you finance through Chrysler Financial. Ther is also Farm Bureau $500, commercial $300, and others I'm sure.
