THIRD ANNUAL 1ST GEN DAY AT PDR Oo.



Now,... ... how many would like to come up and what month/day would work???



I don't have a particular month that is committed to but we'll need to look over the groups preferences and, see what events are happening when to make sure we can have a decent amount of time between/before/after any other events so that most/all of you can attend.....



I'm gonna take a wild stab and say it will likely be about/around the same time as last year which was the end of July as long as there isn't an event in Alberta like last year too... roughly...



What do you say???... .



BTW, last year we had a "back up rodeo" was that a good idea? should we do something like that again?? Idea's... . ?????

Since I missed out on the big event last year I will be coming up to that one as well.



My pickup will be out of the body shop sometime next week. I am hoping it will look good enough to enter it in the show and shine this year. If ya'll remember I did win the Junk Yard Dawg Award last year.



I guess I had better call my mechanic and make an appointment to get everything dialed in. Then I need to see if I can get on a dyno somewhere and do some more tuning. Well while I am at it I had better get a hold of my pump guy and order some parts for my pump. Geez so much to do so little time.



The back-up rodeo was fun last year I say we do it again. I was in the running for first until I hit about ten cones at the finish line. :{



WHHHHHOOOOOOOOO I cant wait.

Hey great to see the enthusiasm for this... . a brief "drive by chat" with Piers suggest's we'll be looking at August for this... the timing in July is not going to work.

I hope that we can find a particular day/weekend that will allow everyone to make it up..... Stomp, I'm anxious to see more than just a paint job bud..... bring it 'all' with ya and, since you can only with junk yard dog once per lifetime you're in the clear

I'll be there if I get my truck fixed by then. Should be done the first part of July except for the twins and exhaust. Was hoping to have that done(still am hoping) so I could get a fresh dyno run with it.



Now, If I can just get over the border! Didn't think they were going to let me back into the US side last year. :-{}

I'm afraid that by the time they get through working on my bucket of bolts they won't want me up there any more. I heard it was giving them trouble. But if they are willing I'll follow Stomp up there. I heard the glare off his new paint job makes it hard to follow too close. But after watching his 600+ run I think I can just follow the smoke trail.

First Gen

Hi Bob, Looking forward to another FIRST GEN day. Being as close as I am to the event-any date before elk season will work. . Lynn and I were down to California (Stomp's stomping ground :-laf :-laf ) and were able to cross the borders both ways with no passports. Hope our American friends can do the same. The manditory passport regulations may not come into effect for a while.
