I'm in also..... couldn't make last year but looking forward to this one... . been thinking of a 16cm PDR 35... . maybe it's good timing.

Plus... . any of you NW folks, this weekend isthe NWBomber's party at Hoss's. There'll be the usual mud wrestling (Ram style) in the pasture.

Okay, the date has been set :D We are going to do the 3rd annual 1st gen day on Saturday Oct. 15th/05. Harry thought that August would be too hot to be cooking turkeys, so we'll wait until things cool off a bit and go with the Oct date. How does that sound to you guys?

Sounds OK to me. Except for one thing.

If you talk me into doing another smoke show with my new tires my wife won't me play with you guys anymore.

Ok guys... there's the gospel on the date barring blood, death, general destruction and the creek rising... . book it in and get to tweakin... ...

pb... . :D:D:D

Oo. Oo.

Hey guy's if you know or think you'll make the event please email the PDR shop using the "contact us" address.

Make a note on you email like "definitely gonna make it no matter what"... looks like I will be able to attened..... I will try but can't confirm at this time... sorry can't make this one... .

Those sort of things will give us basis on which to plan the food/drinks; possible dyno time if we can work it out; parking and, all the other things that go into making one of these things work.

thanks for you help, enthusiasm, and replies. .

If you need any special info/advice just drop a line to the shop or even to me personally if need be... I'll be glad to answer your question or go get the answer and reply back ASAP.

Heads Up On Event T-shirts....

Ok guys... . Piers told me he saw some mention of T-Shirts for this open house event.....

He came back a bit later and told me to let you all know... ... ... ... ... >>>>>>

Anyone who can put together a nice graphic/pic/slogan/logo for our 3rd Annual 1st Gen Day '05 will have it entered into a kind of contest...

Since this is for the early truck guys he thought you all might like to play a role in this.

If your "ready to go" logo/design is chosen you'll get a $100. 00 PDR gift certificate and, of course, a free shirt to go with it... .

This way it's 1st gen from start to finish... I thought that was kinda neat to be honest... .

When you think you've got the winner, just email it to PDR and it will go into the esteemed panel of judge... ;) no not me... . and a winner will be chosen and advised... . probly when they get here for the event...

Keep in mind that this shouldn't be "war and peace" in length due to graphic's costs right..... crap, that means I can't enter... bummer... ;)

So, get at 'er and put together what you think will be a good graphic/logo etc that represents this event and send it off ... . :D:D:D

pb... ...

TTT..... I wanted to remind all you fella's about this open house... PDR would like it to be great event for us 1st Genners and, to remind you all that if you can come up with a "slogan and graphic" for the event and, if it's chosen you'll have your design on the shirts to go along with a gift certificate.

I'd really like to see this event grow a bit more this year and that will help us keep this event on our annual schedule for future years... .

Please send your replys to: -- email address removed --

She will pass those on to me and I'll add them to my list of hopefuls and so forth...

Any of you guys planning on going? I just got back from there big event an I will be going back for the frist gen day. I had a blast just like last year. I didnt even get to see what my pickup is capable of doing on the dyno I had some problems, but I will have those taken care of before I leave. I did get a good run on diesel only 573. 9hp. Come on guys we need to make this big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its only a 1500 mile round trip for me, but it is well worth the drive. So any one who lives closer than me should be able to make the drive.

I had better get cracking on the T shirt idea. A 100 bucks is a 100 bucks.

Hey Jeremy,

Getting close to that 600 number there my friend! Oo.

I plan on going up for the 1st gen event. Finally getting the twins set up right. Had to change out the pump top and also replace the fan clutch. Got all that done this past weekend and the truck is starting to come together. Still need to get a little more fuel and there are a couple of adjustments I need to make to do that. Still have the fuel screw set conservatively and the starwheel up toward the top.

Who all is going were getting pretty close? I am going to try a few things before I come up. Should see an improvement on the rollers :D Maybe someone will get to the 600hp number. Might be some darn good numbers this year.

PB did your brother get his pump on yet?

OldSmoky are you going to make it up? Did you get your new pump head put together?

Not on yet Stomp,,,we're still tweaking more fuel out of it. .

At this point I don't know if it will be on the truck and running in time... he's trying to balance his budgets for hunting/R&D etc..... so far he's into this part alone for over $5000. 00 but he is still at it...

We have a couple new idea's to try out and see what they produce on the pump stand to.

Nothing short of blood death and general destruction will keep me away... and I gotta get up the next morning nice an early to go hunting for a couple weeks myself...

Gonna be a loooonnggg day on Sat. but worth it seeing all you guys again.

I plan on being there, want to see all the friends I have made in the past few years! Besides, I need to get a dyno run on the new setup. Still working on getting things right, have done a few things but still need to do a few more. Looks like the lift pump has not been eating Wheaties every day cause the pressure is a bit low and I will need to do something about that. Not sure if I have enough time to do everything before I leave so we'll see. I'm leaving this Sunday and headed up to Salem area to see my Son. Taking a couple of weeks off work.
