Ya... and only a special dispensation from the "church" will serve as an excuse for not making it.....

OH... . no "one wheel peels" either... only the two tire turners get to do the burnouts in this part of the country... . well... . ok, maybe one or two exceptions..... :D

permission from boss

As did I! I will be there for sure, however I have just one question: Is it in WA, or Canada?

Nick

p. s. if it is at the Canada address, is it true you will need a copy of your birth cert. or passport to cross the border?

Yes you will need a copy of your birth cert. or a passport. Its to late to try and get a passport if you allready dont have one. It will be nice to meet you Nick since we didnt get a chance to meet up last time you were in town. I am heading up on Thursday and spending the night in Portland and then heading out early Friday morning.

See all you guys up there.

You might also take the shop phone number with you too... that way you can offer to have them call and confirm you destination on the off chance they might want to do that... just a thought...

Bob,

We had RSVP'd a long time ago but Vicki is having some health issues and we will not be able to attend, I was really looking forward to it this year as I wasn't planning on working on my truck most of the day but just visiting with people. I'm sorry it's such short notice but sometimes life doesn't give us much notice.

Later,

Caleb

I'm out. Stuck another 14mm p&b last night. Looks like i'll have to try something else. I was really hoping to make it up there and see everyone this year, but without a truck it's not going to happen. I was also hoping to see how much power it made on the dyno dynamics, made 609hp and 1294ft/lbs on the dynojet. Have fun guys.

Mike

Mike, isn't that the second 14mm head that's stuck a p/b on ya? Randy had his and it blew up on the test stand, never even made it to the truck. He's about to try number 2 as well... but I'm thinking he should return it, they just don't seem to be holding up. Sorry to hear about that, let us know if you get a good one.

Caleb, take care of Vicki, she is way more important than a truck event, give her our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I made 307. It seems my pump is tired. Lenny at DDP told me that last week but being stubborn I thought it was just fine. Well, with two of the smartest people around tell me the same thing I guess they're right. (And here I thought I knew everything)

Piers told me 307 was a lousey chevy engine, well, I'd better do something quick to get away from that.

I had a good time even though I couldn't hang around very long and it was great to see some folks I haven't seen for a while.

Thank you Piers, Harry,Pastor Bob, Mark, and all the rest that made this day happen. Plus I would like to thank the good LORD for the wonderfull weather. It was a beautiful day.

Now all I gotta do is convince the wife I NEED that new pump.
