Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Third gen.Truck owner with question??

I have a 2004,cummins diesel so i don,t get on this 2nd gen much to ask questions. I have a friend who is hauling hay to KY. and he is pulling a 34,000 lbs on a gooseneck trailer. He wants to add a (MILD)HP box or downlader for more pulling power. Any suggestions?Thanks coobie.

If he has gauges go with a smarty

If no gauges a Edge Juice with Attitude would be nice, (gauges built in) but he would have to leave it on the lower levels and I think it has a Boost and pyro alarm that you can set.
