 What is the purpose of that? It doesnt even look good.

Doesn't look good is an understatment, it looks horrible. Why oh why would someone want do something like that to their truck. I know its a chevy but they don't have to make it uglier than it already is. :D

No denying it when you lay rubber on the road doing a burnout.

But maybe you could use the white ones to erase the black marks left by others. :D

Check out the guy standing next to the Chevy in the 'Gallery. ' He looks like an idiot standing next to those tires. I doubt they will make any money off that venture. I read that they have been working on this for 15 years!!!!!! WTF

From their FAQs-

Q. Are there any special installation needs that need to considered when installing Colored Tires?

A grounding strip must be mounted to the vehicle in order to discharge static electricity that is generated from the colored rubber used in the remolding process.

Who needs an alternator, the tires will generate electricity for you. Either that, or it's a good joke to play on people if you don't ground it. :-laf

  Had to check the calender,no it's not April first.

That looks as stupid as the jacked up Ford 4X4 with "spinners" I

saw last week.

Years ago (around 1977/80) or so, a few container trailer companies were experimenting with colored tires. The reason, theft!! The truckers who were pulling the container trailers were removing the good (or new) trailer tires and replacing them with junk tires off their semi-tractors. In the Cleveland OH area, this was a real big problem. Since no self respecting trucker would be cought dead with colored tires on his (or her) rig, the idea seemed to work.

Still, I agree with everyone else, We're talking butt ugly here!! Yikes... . :--)
