Thanks, TDR Staff

Any Mack engine guys?

Stopped by the Duramax forum...

Oh man, it takes all kinds. How someone can even consider buying ANY 6. 0 is beyond me, especially one that has already been certified as pure junk. It amazes me that people over there are actually telling him to buy it!

Why? It doesn't surprise me at all.

Some of those guys have owned 3 trucks that were bought back, and still got another one. One guy had his first one lemoned at 2500miles. His new one had 1500 miles, and only been to the dealer 3 times. Said it was his best truck yet.

What’s that old saying? “There’s a sucker born every minute?” Some people’s brand loyalty just amazes me.

It's be a good candidate for a conversion to a Cummins. I wonder where you can find one.

How about a good candidate for a boat anchor. I wouldn't touch it even if it wasn't a "buy back".

I would have no problem purchasing that truck for the right price if it it what you need. maybe the dealer would let you drive it for a while and see how it is?I think too many on the site have too many bad things to say and not enough good things too say. just my opinion and I have had several powerstrokes as well as 6 in the family right now

The reason no one is saying good things about the 6. 0 is because there isn't much good to say to begin with! :-laf That's his baby, I'll let him rock it.

I know of a guy in town that bought an 03 6. 0 buyback. He runs a little mechanic shop, and loves his 6. 0.

It's my understanding that when a truck is lemon lawed, that Ford does all they can to fix the truck up before re-selling. I have been wrong a few times before though.
