... "cheap" (tacky) running boards...

Ain't that the truth. That was one of the first things I did to my truck after I got it with those on there - took 'em off and put them in the dumpster!:-laf

I was just saying they aren't "cheap" because they're actually literally somewhat expensive, believe it or not. A friend of mine bought my truck new, and he was the one that had those boards put on it when it was brand new... mucho $$$.

If that was my truck I wouldnt take less than 25,000 for it and if I bought it I wouldnt ever drive it because I do live in a rust belt. You guys need to relax on the complaints about it. Im sure that as clean as it is he didnt go and drill any excessive holes in the body. I bet he even laid down camper tape between the running boards and the sheet metal to prevent wear on the paint. The owner apparently took great pride in it and deserves a huge applause.

Was that truck ever driven on any day other then a sunny dry summers day? That carpet was either replaced or my first statement is true. that's just crazy clean.

with a good hard weekend of cleaning once the snow clears, mine will look like that again... but it would still have 135k on it.
