Competition Pulling Videos Russell County VA

Competition Weekend on the edge!!!!!!!

Drew in New Lexington 7/22/06

I bet if they have their way they'll change the rules so he has to pull in reverse.

Good job Drew!

See I can play nice *. :D

* I have other "edited" versions of this video that I would just love to upload... . try me! :-laf

I personally think it's cool that Craig let you use his motor!

I've been standing by the gassers, when Drew pulled... . my ears were shocked, lol!!!!

Whats even more funny, is the 800 ci gassers, rockwells, drop boxes etc, go looking for virtually stock Diesels now, and high five each other when they inch by them.

Life is good, in Diesel land, thanks Drew!

Let's see him drop to 6200lbs and see what happens.

Is that what you would have to do to beat him? Change the rules? :{

Rules: 8000lb weight limit*

*Unless your truck runs good and hooks to the track, then your limited to 6200lb!

8000lb class... ok. I don't know any modified 4x4's(gas) that pull over 6200-6500lbs. They aren't set-up or geared for 8000lbs. 1800lbs is alot of weight. Especially on the right track!

JFaulkner-What are you... . the president of his fan club?? I simply made a statement. I have pulled against mod 4x4's before, too. And trust me the outcome is different at 8000lbs! Think of it like this. Lt. Alky SS tractor-6000lbs vs. heavy diesel SS tractor-8000lbs. I know who I would bet my money on. I'm not knocking the guys truck by any means... . I'm just stating facts here.

No fan club here. But the topic of this thread is "what has the pa gassers crying" and a comment like that just sounds like something they would say. All while forgetting that they rev higher, (pretty much takes care of the gearing problem) most are probably running cut tires while screaming that he has duals. They run leaded race gas, he runs #2 and water. While his extra weight (truck, not drew authough..... :-laf )may be an advantage, it shouldn't overshadow the advantages they have. And from what I hear it's "run what you 'brung"! His truck wouldn't move without the weight anymore than theirs would with a Cu. In. restriction. I'm not jumping down anyones throat, like I've said before I'm just stirrin' the pot to make some interesting discussion! :D

I see you live in Elwood, I laugh evertime I drive through there and read the "Domestic violance" sign they have on 28. I guess in Indiana if you want to beat your spouse you have to move to another town! :-laf :-laf

That's a good one!!!!

Perhaps these PA guys are just a bunch of whiners with weak trucks? I don't know. We have some tough gassers in these parts. Maybe he should go run with the OSTPA boys.

I actually live west of Elwood in the next county, just a few miles south of 28. I think those signs are just for peoples amusement..... half the wife beaters in Elwood can't read anyway. And the other half don't care!

Hey I have relatives that live in Elwood. But he isn't far off, there are a few decent people in that town, but don't they leave when tomato season is over?? :)
