8000lb class... ok. I don't know any modified 4x4's(gas) that pull over 6200-6500lbs. They aren't set-up or geared for 8000lbs. 1800lbs is alot of weight. Especially on the right track!

You might want to look at the results of one of the earlier points pulls in PA. A poor little red ford gasser named Misery that was built to run 6200 pro-stock put a couple feet on Drew. There are a few more trucks just like this one that can run with the caliber of truck like Drew's. I'm not knocking Drew's truck, it is an awesome machine, Im just trying to set the record straight.

I don't think anyone doubts there are trucks that can beat Drew. What I was getting at is as soon as some guy from out of town comes over and beats them at their own game, (on numerous ocasions no doubt) the PA gas guys want to change the rules to beat him rather than try harder. That's where the "cry baby :{ " title comes from.

All arguments aside... Drew's truck is running awesome.

Hopefully some of the dyno queens on the site can take a lesson from a real truck/driver that is not afraid to put the power to the ground. :-laf

Dan,

I am on the west coast right now.

But I did hear that John Cramer won running the "SBG".

Bryan Prewitt tried the SBG and it shut the motor down on him at around the 250' mark.

You gots any news?

A friend of mine said he thought he saw your truck at marion county, last night. SBG?? Which gear is that? No big news, still doing changes to the truck, trying to figure out why the 24V we run can light the charger and I can't. I am beginning to think that I must have too much fuel down low. I am hoping this weekend to do lots of AFC mods. I have a few more things I want to try, I just hope that the truck will stay together. One of them is pretty extreme!!!

I figured that, but never realized it would be that much of a difference. I didn't watch him pull, but he said it just lit right up. I will see his video tomorrow.

So do you think he will make it to the Clearfield County pull this Thursday? I see that is on their schedule. I am planning to pull at this one, depending on what "other" classes they have. Hopefully he makes it to this one.

Actually it was a new body style Dodge named Super Ram that grabbed top honors in the 6200lb open class, by more than a few feet! Yeah we're working on it in the street liscensed class, but that Duramax is a good running truck. The pick-up classes at Clearfield will be: Run What You Brung, Street Liscensed Diesel, and Open Street Liscensed. They will also have the Big Rigs and the Smoker Series there.

The night before New lexington Drew put 9 feet on a OSTPA super pro mod 4x4 truck which is the same class that Van Haisley pulled in and took second. By the way Drew's truck is also a single charger truck.
