I talked to you (Big Bob) up at Abbottsford about the horn that you are using and I can't remember the name or where you said that you aquired it, and Papa Joe's also. Could you please refresh my memory. The sound of them were defently music to my ears. Thank You!!!!!

Hey Ed, I see BIG BOB and Papa Joe haven't seen this thread yet... so I'll try to answer your question.

If I remember correctly, BIG BOB has Hadley air horns, Papa Joe has the Grover air horns. I believe Papa Joe purchased his through the Rickson/wwcd2 group purchase. I may be wrong but, I think the Hadley's were louder and deeper in tone. One thing's for sure, both were louder than HE!! #ad

Thenks for your input John. Those names do correct. That will certainly be music to my ears when I get them on my truck. Although I did like that picture that I saw a little while back with the Ram that had the locomotive horns mounted on it. It had all four trumpets mounted on it, I am sure that it sounded just like the sweetest music that one has ever heard.
Thanks again.

Hey Ed, I just UBBed this thread to both "BIG BOB" and "Papa Joe". Hopefully one or both will respond in more detail. #ad

Howdy - Never been on this thread. Hope my copious valves don't get me in trouble. #ad

I have the Grovers and Big Bob has the Hadleys. As John said, I got mine through Ricksons on the group purchase. I love the horns and there is a superb photo installation guide here somewhere (I don't know how to post addresses. )

Bob's Hadleys are louders and more shrill. I believe mine are slightly deeper. Though I like my setup I feel the quality of the individual components is slightly better on the Hadleys.

Either way you'll like them because it sounds more like the truck that it is, and the surprised look when you blast an idiot driver is priceless #ad

Don't worry Papa Joe... I don't think they (12 valvers) will levy the usual 5 HP penality against you (for posting in the "wrong" forum) as you were helping a fellow Rammer. #ad

I could have sworn BIG BOB'S Hadley's were deeper sounding than your Grover's. #ad
I know one thing, both of them were VERY LOUD when you blasted Rob and I on the way up to Dyno Day. #ad

Hey Guys,

I haven't really followed the 12V forum, guess I'd better start. You never know when someone is talking behind your back.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Had to make a day trip to Portland on Thursday and haven't gotten caught up yet.

Papa Joe's Grovers are deeper sounding, sound more like a diesel truck. I do have to agree that my Hadley Bully's are more ear piercing and louder. I just love to make people **** their pants when I blow them.
