This weeks problem!!

O. K. , when the truck has been run for a bit , when I go to start it it will idle "funny" and make a bit more rattle then usual. Then if the RPM's drop it tries to recoup by revving up to 12-1300 RPM's by itself!! Not always though, seems the hotter it is( engine and ambient) the more pronounced this is! I'm thinking along the lines of maybe a leaky relief valve or possibly the TST box not liking the heat! Give me your thoughts on this... . oh yeah previous problem of noisy trans is still there also!! :{

Perhaps so! But 130k hard *** miles till this shows up with no other symptoms?

Might be an intermitantly bad injector.

I'm sorry I thought the warranty still applied to the engine. Have you eliminated the chip to see what happens?

Might try unplugging the box this weekend and see how she acts, but it has to go back in for the first part of the week, have a lenghty haul Tuesday and Wednesday to knock out !
