Spell Checker advice

OK - I'm looking at one of these to add to the "collection"... actually I want something that I can shoot that is lightweight..... since these are ported... . recoil shouldn't be that bad... ... Thoughts

I mean the thought of a 410 revolver is interesting... ..... BUT how practical - sort'a sounds like the ultimate "house" gun... ...

Stay away from the ported guns if you think you may need to use it at night.

Taurus's are good guns, I dont think you'll go wrong with either.

I have a "former gang banger" shotgun for in the house. 12 gauge mossberg.

It cost me $60. I sand blasted it and did a Duracoat paint job on it. Looks pretty good now. The forearm I now have on it costs more than the gun cost. :-laf

I wish I thought to take a before picture of it. It was in pretty sad shape.

But I digress... ... :p

I've had a blue Taurus Tracker . 44 for 3 years and love it! The porting trally works, full loads in this light weight gun are actually reasonably easy to handle. The sights are excellent, it points naturally, is easy to carry. The only shortcoming is you can't use long rounds... some 300 gr loads are too long overall to work in the Tracker. I have several . 44 pistols, the Tracker is my favorite!

i've used the hell out of my taurus 608 357 and love it, i did a extensive trigger job to slick out the double action and it never fails to impress anybody who gives it a squeeze (not that it was all that bad new), it's ported but i can't say it's been any problem but it's usual fodder is fairly low flash blue dot occasionally ill throw something juicy through it and in a darkened range it's nothing serious

I have no "hands on" with the Taurus, but I have heard mostly positive about the revolvers. Mixed reviews on the semi-autos.

The Judge sounds pretty cool. You can't get them in CA; they are considered a short barrel shotgun! Go figure. The land of fruits and nuts!

The Judge and the Trackers are great guns.

I agree with patriot... . ported guns at night = holy blindness, batman!

stay away from ported guns they are no fun to shoot at night. they are hard on the hearing!!! Smith makes a very good light weight six shots. they have a air weight that is very good a mod 15 in 2 in is a very good hand gun this is mod that all police carried in the 60 only in 4in ----BEN
