1) Will a 2001 Edge Comp fit a 2002 truck?

2)For daily driving what level should i set it on?

3) What can i go up to for stoplight play with out leaving my slushbox at the start line?

2002 Auto LWB

1, yes it will with an adapter available from Edge

2, the level you set it on for daily driving is totally up to you. I preffer to leave mine off most of the time. My injectors give me enough extra power, and when i turn it on,its on 5x5,to pass someone or play around. If Im towing ill put it on 1x3 or 3x3 if its real hilly ,and i want to hold good speed uohill.

3, for stoplight play,if your playing it safe, leave it on level 1 ,and higher, and you may get torque convertor slippage when it locks up in 3rd or 4th. Upgrades are needed to the auto to handle anything higher than level 1,if you have a healthy transmission,if yours is weak it will slip on level 1.

My transmission is very healthy, i know i need mods but it looks like im going to be able to pick up this box cheap and local so thats why i think i am going to go for it. The pump wire will not be hooked up. That could make for TROUBLE :D :D

I have a auto w/Comp.

Snowman is EXACTELY right on.

I run mine in 1x1 (no pump wire) and love it. I got a 2002 for my 2002. I did DD2's. The Comp in 1x1 actually defuels at lower boost levels. I turn Comp on mpg goes up 1 mpg. I turn it off it goes down 1 mpg. Repeatable at any time. However if I get the boost up then it will widen the injector open time, ie more fuel.

I never run my transmission in OD unless empty I have 1600rpm and towing 1800rpm to ensure sufficient fluid pressures to hold.

I am going for a DTT complete rebuild tommorrow so I will not have to baby the transmission to get it to do what DC SHOULD have designed in the first place.

OEM transmission you need to be ultra careful with anything other than stock fueling. Keep the rpm's up to get the internal pressures up so it will hold as well as it can.

I got the Comp so I could control it from inside the cab and after the DTT rebuild I can hook up the pump wire if I NEED to.
