I'm looking at purchasing my gauges and I like the three gauge dash top mount the most. It keeps the gauges right in front of my eyes and I don't have to divert them far from the road. However, I have the Geno's coverking dash cover. I don't want to lose it. I've thought about just laying the pod on top of the cover itself and somehow securing it to the dash cover, or cutting some slits in the cover and securing it to the dash, but then I can't remove the dash cover without removing it. I've thought about cutting out the area for the gauge pod. Anyone running this combo have some suggestions? Thanks.

I am in the same predicament as you, except that I also have the Mopar Navus navigation unit that sits on top of the dash.

I submitted ideas to GDP about making a dashmat contoured to fit over the 3 gauge dash pod, but nothing ever came of it.

I resorted to buying 2 complete dashmats. I am in the process of cutting pieces and sewing them together to make a cover to fit.

These are the rare occassions I wish I knew how to sew.

Thanks for the pic. It looks like your pod is recessed in the dash more than mine would be. Would it be possible to get a better pic? Thanks.

I mounted my pod right over the top of the mat. It's a little tougher to get the screws started, but it's been there for over 3 years with no issues.
