About 3 months age my stock 95 felt like it was jumping in and out of overdrive between 55-60 mph. I was told it was tps. Bought a new one and it stopped doing it. Now 3 months later first thing in morning it's doing it again, But after driving a while it quits, any ideas.

If you do a search here you will find lots of info on this issue. I would look at moisture in the connections and spray WD 40 into the connections to try to get any moisture out. THere are some threads about erratic electric affecting it but since its only in the morning and goes away I think it is the moisture from condensation and then as it heats up the moisture evaporates. Try that first. Its cheap and was effictive for me.

clean your brake light switch this should fix ya up, its up under the dash and activated by your brake pedal, contacts in side are probably dirty, wd-40 the crap out of it and cycle it a bunch, and make sure its adjusted right if its barely making contact it will go open going down the road over rough roads.

Mine use to do that but every time it was rainy and wet outside. Has not done it in 2 years as an everyday driver.

What i have done: Repaced TPS (helped but did not fix)---. Seperated wires in the wriing harness so the three wires just were away from the Harness and this helped a lot--- New Brake light switch helped but not fix. ---Deep Pan on the Transmission. This had nothing to do with trying to fix the TPS problem i just wanted more transmisson oil. Has not done it one time in 30,000. RMcKinney 95 2500 SLT, AT, 4wd, 265,000 miles, K&N Filter.

Incorrect throttle linkage adjustment can cause the same OD in/out problems too. Been there...

I contacted him

I was reading a diesel mag, sorry on the road and wanted something to read, saw this ad looks like its a new item. Its for 1st gen but maybe contact them to see if it will work on 2nd gen. Sounds good. I know that we can mod a pot. in ours but this sound easier and for 30 bucks.
