Throttle positioning sensor problems!!!!!!

I have a friend who has a '96 that has a lot of throttle positioning sensor troubles. Since it was new, he has had 6 sensors on it. He's having trouble with it now. Has anyone had this trouble on theirs? He doesn't power wash it, so that was my first guess. He wants to get ahold of Cummins directly, but I think that would be a Mopar thing anyway, wouldn't it? If it is a Cummins thing, does anyone have a customer service phone number to Cummins? Thanks

Has he had the throttle recall done yet? I was about to purchase my third TPS when I got the recall a couple of weeks ago. i guess the linkage can rust up and cause binding in the cable. I was amazed that the shifting problem went away immediately. hopefully that is it, becasue I doubt the dealer threw a new one inf for kicks.
