Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Throttle Response Problem

I have a 01 2500 diesel and have been experiencing throttle problems for several months. When I let off the throttle and then push back down I do not get an immediate response. I usually have to tap the throttle several times before it will respond. Have never got any codes with this problem. I have already added new fuel pump in the tank. Still having the problem. Any ideas as to what could be going on???

sounds like the apps screwing up or vp44 dieing dead pedel.

Do and APPS reset and see if that helps. Mine didn't start to pickup till 1600 and by 2100 it wasn't supplying much fuel to the engine. Good luck.
