Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Throttle spring broke

One of the springs on my throttle linkage busted. When it busted the plastic connector took off w/ it. My next question is should these springs be the same length and tension, and does anybody know the part #'s for the springs and connectors?



The parts that broke and that are missing are parts #2 and #21. Any help would be appreciated.

They come as an assembly. You can get them from Cummins or the dealer, brace yourself before they tell you the price. Sorry can't find the part #

price shouldn't be bad. i had to replace a missing spring on mine... very similar to the one you need, but it had a hook on one end, instead of the plastic clip.



it was under 2 bucks at the dodge dealer.

Mine broke before and I went to Cummins and they just gave me one said they had a whole drawer full of them.

The one they gave me only had one plastic end on it. I had one of the plastic deals and hooked it to the end w/ the hook. Do you think this is o-kay? throttle seems to be working alright now.
