throwing codes... again..... UPDATED WITH CODES!

on friday i was driving from Camp Pendleton CA to Alb. New mexico... got to barstow on the 15N... had 3 horses in the trailer and found the truck starting to buck, the check engine light dinging like crazy and ALL the problem lights lighting and going out. gauges fluxing like crazy except the spedo. put the clutch in and the truck was idleing and dropping off and surging. i shut him down after a second of idling poorly, let it sit for a few min ad had to try 2 other times. second time fired up normaly nd we continued with the trip, no problems check engine light went out about 5 hours later.

it threw 8 codes one twice. WIF light was on for about 4 seconds so it threw that code, a couple dealing with fuel, a few dealing with the throttle pedal, cam sensor gripes, and a few others to include low boost...

my truck is stick, the EGT and fuel press gauges have not been hooked up do to life getting in the way, but bost was normal as it could be through all of this.

my question is could i be having the wiring harness issue? i have thrown a cople of the codes dealing with the pedal two other times... . could htta be the problem? the truck is going to a dealership on monday. ill drive my little escort till they fix it and the list of other small gripes...

thanks, and ill post up the exact codes when i get back from getting my hair cut. oh, just under 34k on the truck...

My guess is a batch of bad fuel in the fuel separator, did you drain and collect a sample by chance? Perhaps something got in the way of an injector?

could be, but in all honesty i doubt i had bad fuel. i drained the fuel filter housing and will change the filter out monday anyway as it is time. i didnt have anything to drain the fuel into and look at it though. i just got done running about 4 tanks of fuel through and this was the only problem.

Here are the codes

P0237 - Generic Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

P0341 - cam position sensor performance/rationality **second time i have gotten this code**

P2121 - Pedal Position Sensor 1 Performance / Rationality **Second time i have gotten this code... . **

P2261 - ? Nothing came up on search... what is it?

P2127 - Pedal Valve position Sensor **second time i have gotten this code. **

P2269, got this one twice. - Water in Fuel Sensor, no water found in fuel, i just ran a seocnd check with sample this time. fuel is clean.

P0652 - GENERIC Sensor Reference Voltage B Circuit Low **second time i have gotten this code**

P0193 - Rail Pressure sensor high code

ok, from what i gather they all or mostly relate to fuel. just to be safe im going to add a treatment again but this time ill get an elmuslifyer. i know how to find water in the fuel as i do fuel samples on Helocpters and thats the primary thing we look for. somethign tells me that they are all on the same harness though.

i have read of harness issues, so maybe thats all it is... . we will find out on monday.

as for bad fuel i go through a tank of fuel in a week or less and always get fuel at a truck stop, mostly loves (I Love Loves... GREAT PLACE!!) or here on base who runs out once a month for half a day most of the time. only two stations with diesel on all of camp pendleton for CIV rides.

what do you think?

thanks.

As one infamous scoundrel once said, "I feel your pain, son. "

Hang in there buddy. You've got a good truck; you just need to get the problem resolved. Stuff happens. Seems a connector/wiring problem that is aggravated by damp weather…

I'm sure this isn't much help with your truck but I do want to thank you for keeping America safe. Your job is very important and we lesser folks can't say enough to support the forces.

you are VERY welcome.

and im going to drive it to work, then have it towed to the dealership. i guess ill be driving my ltiile ford for the next couple days. man, this sucks.
