Who wants 50% better diesel milage?

Ordered a set of super contacts with plunger and came within 5 days all the way across the U. S. from Washington to Virginia.

Install was easy and by the instructions.

Another one here. The fuel line kit and the new boot on the shutdown solenoid went on easy for me as well.

Broke the post off starter for the positive cable though. :-laf Had to replace that too.

To put on the boot, do you just remove the nuts and swap boots or do you remove the whole solenoid? I have LarryB's boot but I haven't put it on yet.

Thanks,

yupp! ive been running larry b contacts and plunger in my starter for about 5 months, he makes a good product... . and was shipped promptly to me when i ordered them... .

it sure beat buying a reman'd starter from the local dodge house, they wanted almost $530. 00 :--)

It is pretty easy. It would be easier to install off the truck. I put mine on when I replaced the fuel lines, It is only help on with a small zip tie. It is the only thing that holds it together, so be careful taking it off the truck, if the old boot is in really bad shape. The spring could make it fly apart. Would be helpful to gently put the solenoid in a vise or have a helper hold it together. Getting the tie started can be tricky by yourself, as I was.

Yep, it was easy. I took mine off and replaced the boot. The old boot has disentigrated so it did come apart on me.

I hate rebuild starters and how everyone thinks their old starter is trash. No it is the freaking contacts! Same with Alternators, these items were meant to be rebuilt with ease... .

Rebuild it yourself for almost nothing!
