Scheids or Muncie Which one?

Dragway42 - OH

Saw where somebody had posted about Dragway42 in Northeast OH. Thought I'd chime in about those facilities... .

VERY nice pulling setup. Two sticky clay tracks sidebyside with a big open hayfield for parking. Pulled the tractors many a time there. Plenty of local sleds (OSTPA sanctioned) that would be more than willing to run two simulataneous tracks.

Don't know much about the dragstrip, except that every time we pull there they have a bunch of campers parked over there and there's a constant stream of cars going down the track.

I think you boys would enjoy it - it has to be a hick place to have a two lane tractor pulling track beside a drag strip (same owners by the way)

Eric you know me I'll be at anything remotly close, wouldnt miss it for the world. If you need any help give us a hollar you know all the guys at FOKISD are ready to help. Now a TiM in utah might be a little far for me. Travis

I'm working on a plan B for Muncie. It includes another TiM in Utah! Look out Rocky Mountains.....

So read that as two Thunder in Muncie's next year, could it really happen? I'll keep you all posted.

Oh now that would be just tooo cool:cool:

Utah will be at a seperate time, how could I pull that off? Be at both places at one time.

This year Thunder in Muncie will be totally sanctioned by the DHRA. The pulls and drags. The show will have a different way about it, but will be better for the fan and competitor. This program will be what the DHRA uses for the 2005 series.

I will put up another thread about Muncie.

What do you say we start the pulls at noon or 11 AM? They ran WAY too long last year.

Oh, and could the Sunday weather be dry too?

(and could I complain any more? :{ )

Pulls lasting WAY too long, Pete? Not possible... ... ..... unless gassers were involved. :p

The only pull I have seen last too long, was Rob Thomas next to last place run at Jesup, in 2nd low range.

I think it was close to 45 minutes. :D
