Ohio Diesel Dyno Day.

Anything happening in So Cal?

Mark your calendar for June 7th next year, matter of fact, you better clear off the whole week prior! I have rented Indianapolis Raceway Park for the Diesel Pickup Nationals.

Muncie has been a great success and has allowed us to grow. Things for next year= Show-n-Shine, dyno shootout (with purse), drag racing, vendors, TDR national event (TBA), and I am looking for a place to have truck pulls too! I wil keep you all informed as information becomes available. Camping information will be available soon.

Let's show IRP what real trucks are all about!

Not just one day!

Jeff, there will be activities starting Wednesday or Thursday with the TDR. I will more than likely have a "cruise-in" and the pulls on Sunday. Lot's to work out still, just wanted to let everyone know when it would be.

Sounds good. Had a great time last year, which was my first diesel event. Looking forward to it.

PS - My daughter (7 yrs) is still not satisfied with losing to the boys at the pedal tractor races at Muncie. She wants another chance, so don't forget those. :D

Great to hear Eric! I already marked the calender, I can't wait, Muncie was a blast, but 2 days was way to short. Lookin' forward to a whole week a smokin'!!

Turbo Tech 2003 Postponed

In Issue 38, we discussed preliminary plans for a series of technical seminars and a vendor showcase in a gathering at Columbus, Indiana. The timing was scheduled to precede a big diesel drag-race event in Indianapolis (the US Diesel Pickup Truck Nationals) the following weekend. Using this dual event format would perhaps validate long-range, have-to-be-there travel plans.

Unfortunately, the drag-race event to be held in nearby Indianapolis was moved back to its original location in Muncie, Indiana. The bottom line is the difference between big city and small town - the sled pull competition could not be scheduled at the Indy venue, but the Muncie folks were more than willing to work with Eric.

Unfortunately, the Muncie location proves to be too far north for the dual event logistics. Thus, Turbo Tech 2003 has been postponed.

As Eric and the drag-racing community work toward a big, all makes, championship-type race, we will work to feed the event with a turbo-tech type gathering. Texas in the Fall anyone? Stay tuned for further information.
