Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Man, I love Bracket racing!!

Competition michigan pulls??

The DHRA is having a sled pulling seminar at the Gaston track Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm. We will be done before the TiM kick off party, trust me.

This is for anyone who wants to pull, or is interested in learning how it is done.

For the veterans who have not pulled this sled or the track at Muncie before, feel free to come and ask any question you like.

Please send an email if you are interested.

Gene, I'm not sure about just rookies. I have been watching the Thunder in Muncie video from last year and I noticed quitre a few supposedly seasoned pullers that may need to sign up for this. Come on people, don't make me name you!

Ohhh, I see what you mean now, Jim. ;)

Veteran pullers and last years rookies, for sure, possibly a mystery guest speaker.

I'd like to have a a video, showing what not to do. Maybe csevers will share with us how not to get a love tap from the sled?:D

Let's not forget Matt. He could tell us a number of things not to do as well. :D :D :D

b.......low.............me!!

At lease if you aren't WOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by my flawless pull, you can get a good laugh at the sled kicking my butt. Give me some time I am sure I can amuse you some more..... lol

Craig

You accomplished much more than you think Matt.

Thousands of pull video viewers watched that pull as much as the Scheid truck.

For different reasons of course... . ;)

A very good instructional pull, awesome. :)

My friends and I watched it over and over trying to figure out WTF was going on. It wasnt till later that I had noticed who it was.

Jim - the announcer even says: "Here's HoleshotHolset... " or something like that...

So, there was no way I could get away with it...

I just had to play with my injection pump and thought: "Nah, I'll be okay... it's just a weight sled. "

As you can see... the fine hopping action was caused by the tight torque convertor combined with the governor lever looking for something to ride on (camplate and AFC were MIA... ) and couldn't find anything. :-laf

Matt

I was thinking, I can haul, but can I pull?

I just picked up some "pulling tires" today...

285/75/16 on 16x8 rims. Cooper Discovery S/T's. Anybody have experiance with those?

Driveshaft loops next...

Merrick

Yeah, Merrick. They are too aggressive for my taste. The tracks around here are really, really tight, though. It just depends on how your truck is set up, what gear you pull in, and the track condition.
