I have tick when I start my truck when it's cold or warm . It sounds like a lifter but the lifters are sold lifters. I ran an overhead or actually checked the clerance on the intake they were 9 and exhaust was 19 or 20. I cant figure were the noise is located in the motor. When I roll on the throttle sometimes it louder and faster doesn't go away. Help!

I HAVE THIS EXACT (oops) thing on my 06'. taken it to the dealer and ran it next to a truck spec'd out like mine and it was louder on mine. i think the afe has made it louder. finally got the dealer to have there "premier" diesel tech look at it and all he found was that the valves were a little tight. so far so problems
