tie rod failure, now replacement?

How hard is it to drill them and put in zerks? Is there a danger of getting cuttings into the join and damaging them?

Drilling them out is a pain. Mostly because I don't have the right tools and practicing trial and error/drill and tap. I used a q-tip and cleaned the hole really well to get the cuttings out.

I order them w/ zirks installed from Source Automotive now.

Thanks! I looked at Source Automotive, but couldn't warrant the big price difference and the 80-some dollar shipping price. Just for grease fittings.

What about "feathering" front tires ?



Would this kit be a good fix with the feathering that I have on the outside edges of my (somewhat new) front tires ?
