2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Tilting bed

Due to the shabby POS fuel module I have the bed off my truck. Thinking about a tilting bed if for no other reason than to make servicing the tank easier. How is it done? How much$. Are there hinges in the back. I might rig it up so it has to be manually jacked up to save $. Anyway who has the knowledge and wants to share?

This Kit From Northern is a great kit. The Dodge Ram 1994-01 kit is Item# 3309041





Load capacity of kit is 4000 Lbs. , but cargoes should not exceed GVW of your pickup. Lifts cargo box to a 45° angle in 10 seconds. Includes 12 Volt DC hydraulic pump, cylinder hardware. Truck Ship. U. S. A.

Intersting. Wish I could see a parts breakdown. Very nice though. Anyone know how long the job takes? Might help with the tailgaters as well.

LOL I was thinking more along the lines of "Honey can you grab the groceries out of the truck?"



I still am waiting to do this as I have shoveled More rock , debris and plain old trash out of my truck that I really am thinking about it. Not to mention how easy loading "Toys" would be with a small winch mounted up on the back wall of the bed!

I want that tilt bed on my truck... . but, it already has a TRAX Transfer Flow Fuel System installed. Those hoses sure better be able to stretch a lot! )

If Rob does offer a kit for the tilt bed he would be pretty good to go with. I got his stack kit and it is very nice, went on easy as sin and instructions very clear.
