Cummins Truck Fest 2005 - Denver, CO

Not yet Chris, I am waiting to get more information about the on-site camping before we sign the contract. The only information I have that is more exciting than doing this at IRP is that we are considering another one in Houston Texas in 2005! Two Thunder in Muncie events!!! Oh my.

So what's the closest (WALKIN DISTANCE, STAGGERING DISTANCE , FALLING DOWN DISTANCE) hotel to IRP? Or more importantly which is gonna be the happenin hotel. I'm gonna need SOMEWHERE to change out a fuel system in a parking lot @ 4 am as I'll probably be due LOL!

Hey now, I just provide the show, I do not support unofficial anythings. Although I'd imagine there are plenty of places to burnout on 300 acres.

Hmmm 300 acres math.

the number of revolutions the tire makes in one mile @ 2700 RPM (162,000)

DEVIDED BY

1 acre = actual 42,600 sq. feet or 50 square feet more than an acre

Devided by four = 10,800

devided by tires spinning in 2nd gear or higher

(Same coefficient of traction in any spinning gear once up to speed)

removing aproximatley 100 miles per revolution.

TIMES 100 Times 300

= 446,280. 991735 miles removed per tire whilst burning out arround the PARIMITER of each acre in the lot of 300.

So Obviously there is not a tire out there that would last. However I am sure we could try :-laf

Is It TIME YET!?

I am currently awaiting information about permits to allow on-site camping. I am also going down tomorrow to look for Amero's IHOP. Actually I am going to collect Hotel information and look for some campgrounds for folks that don't want Holeshot sneaking into their campsite looking for goodies. LOL. Looking for truck wash, grocery and other supportive places for the masses. Now I need someone to do the same for me in Baytown, Texas... .

Bob, I almost sprayed milk out of my nose when you said that at 3AM! :-laf

TMTT: Does that formula take into consideration that some trucks have 4 tires out back? Or... does it take into consideration that some trucks are capable of burning all 4 or all 6 tires at once? :D

Come on, Eric... I'm not a sneaky SOB like that. I'll come right out and ask for goodies... :)

The receiver hitch brass pole has to happen for next year, folks.

Matt

That picture is not proportional, we need to work on the scale. The reciever is too far below the tailgate and the beer cooler is much too small ;)

BTW, do I need to go back and chage the title of the thread to "TiI 05"? Cause that just doesn't sound right

last time i checked it 43,560.

By using your area, my farm is 14 acres bigger than it was, or did I just loose 610kft2 of land becase the 640 acre farm is that much smaller?

I think we have agreed on camping: $10/night for dry, $15/night for electric. There is water here and there, but not enough to "sell" the spots. Everything is a go for that weekend. If you visit www.irponline.com and click on Fan Guide you will see all pertinent information. If you would like to stay up late, have a few cold ones without the law breathing down your neck, I suggest staying at IRP. They have just upgraded all of their restroom facilities and the showers are fantastic! Once I'm back from SEMA I will start on the Thunder in Muncie homepage with local information for everyone.
