For the non believers in the gassers that call them gasser trash, click on the link and go to the 3rd video and watch it first as it is the oldest.

A few statistics: A Steve Petty built 449 cu Small Block Ford with Motec fuel control, 3 rows of injectors (I'm told) and Twin 106mm turbo's, weighing in at 3200 lbs for competition.

Enjoy, Jim

I'm very familiar with the "Lynch Mob" also some of the Livernois cars are nice.

Alot of us are tired of getting crap from the gasser guys about our "dumb, heavy, slow, retarded, smokey, etc. etc. " diesel engines. But alot of them have seen the light and know the potential of our engines.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the small tire.

I hear you Chris, they say that till they see one run... ..... then they just say dang that's cool.

Jim

Just goes to show what a couple good turbos can do!

I get sick of all the NA and Blower crap out there... its old and tired.

in the 3rd video did he wheelie halfway down the track or are my eyes playing games with me?

Looks to me like he held the front end up till he shut it off. Most of those guys will touch back down about the 330 or so, no big deal just tighten the shocks a tiny bit. Don't know who tunes the chassis for them or if they do it but Petty does the motor tuning via lap top and he is a wiz at it... ... scary smart.

Jim,

Have you seen this video?

The car I think is similar to the Lynch cars. It sounds like a Twin turbo motor. What really stuck me is when he passes the camera, it really does not look like he's going that fast.

Then shortly after he passed the camera, something broke and he let off for quite awhile it seemed. The when he hit the guardrail It stuck me how fast he was really going. He was freaking flying.

That was a really bad pass and he was loose from the beginning, there is just too much power and everything happens too fast to recover... ... ..... bad loss of the car but he walked away. I've got pictures of Dan Bill's Twin Turbo Mustang that he lost right after it debut.

Hello Jim, this is Luke, Brian Carpenters crew chief. We have our motor work done with steve and proline. for the latter half of this year including at the etown shakedown, he is now running a 613 cubic inch big block with twin 91 mm turbos reduced to 88 mm inlets for the sanctioning rules. He runs a single set of 115 lb injectors, new on the market for our application this year. This is my brothers name on here, hes big into the diesels and i'm into turbo power so diesel or gas is good with me. He pointed this post out to me, i just wanted to tell the truth about it, not trying to put anyone down here. We are great friends with the lynch mob and talk alot. If you got any other questions, feel free to ask.

My what a small world this is at times. I know Brian a tiny bit as well as his wife, meet them at World Ford in St. Louis along time ago... . think it was the first year there. I drove down and hung out with Chris Derrick's clan! Saw Brian last year when he came down to OKC in the new car, Chris said go over and look at Brian's show car..... I'm like yea right it's a race car..... boy was I wrong..... sweet freakin ride. Hope to see you'll come back again, if so we'll talk to you then.

Later, Jim
