2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Timbrens on Front

Was wondering how much suspension travel still exists if timbrens were to be installed on the front axle, or do they sit right on the axle always offering support loaded or unloaded.

on my 95 1500 I had it gave about 1. 50" of clearance. Enough to go down dirt 2 tracks but also enough to work with a snowplow hanging off the front



I had a 7. 5' western pro plow and it was HEAVY for the truck even after moving up to 3/4 ton coils.
