So, have almost 227K on the truck in my sig, I believe on the original clutch. I can slip it at will with the Bullydog on performance or tow, particularly with a trailer. I'm debating between a Valair HD single disc or a street dual disc. The most this engine will see is tuning, the fuel & turbo will stay stock. Do I really need a dual disc? That's another $400. My towing is a 7500# gross 5th wheel and a duck boat behind that, about another 800# or so. Thoughts?

I would look into the SBC OHD.

You don’t need a dual disc, and IMO don’t want one either. You don’t need a big single disk either, unless your trying to max tuning out.

I did the dual disc thinking I might step up in the future. The problem with that was I never did step up. I installed mine 200K ago. Its a B___h to back up. I did end up going to the SBC hydraulics. I have not had an issue with SBC and when its time to replace I'll go with their recommendations
