I need to replace my 35" Toyo MT. Anyone have experience with the Toyo ATs? I am thinking All Terrains will last longer and wont be so loud. I love the look of Mud Terrains but I don't play that much in the dirt with my truck... most dirt it sees is towing my Jeep to the rocks. Any suggestions on "aggressive looking" All Terrains would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have the Toyo ATs, 285/70/17, so far so good but I only have a couple thousand miles on them. They are very quiet and balance perfectly with 8 oz of Dyna beads.

Toyo has a new size now. 285-75-17. 33. 8 tall and "E" rated. It's spec'd out on the Toyo Canada website. Might be a good compromise.

What about this? http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT67619.aspx

34. 9 diameter LT325/70R17 Toyo website shows this as a 13" wide tire... this is . 50" wider than my current MTs... . do you think this will make a difference? I have a early KORE mid system (the one below race). Max load of 3305 is this "E" rated? I really hate to buy stuff from 4 Wheel Parts but this seems to be the only place that carries the tires and will warranty. $319 a piece... ouch. Any receommendations... I usually like to buy from America's Tire for price and service.

Weird this is a 35" MT and they have a 3640 loan rating http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT67652.aspx

I have 315-70-17 BF Goodrich all terrains and they have been very good for both wear and traction. I've tried Cooper Discoverer STTs and STs and not as impressed as with the BFGs.

They have those Toyos here for $211 each, http://www.tiredeals4less.com/

What rims would you put them on?

Jason,

My guess is that it is only a D rated tire because the max tire pressure is only 50psi, which is in line with almost all the other D rated tires on thier site.

Plus it is 450lbs less load capacity per tire than the E-rated 285/70R17s they have listed. The 285/75 is only listed on Toyo Canada.

Did you mount them on the stock rim? I wanted the 325 AT's from toyo also, but was not sure if they would fit the stock rim and work with the extra width. I called the Toyo dealer here and they said they do not recommend it, but I did not get much more in depth than that. I assumed it would work, but they do not want the liability.

I get a little more rub on my lower control arm than when i had the 35x12. 50 Toyo MTs... this must be due to the extra width since the metric ATs are 13. 00. I still have the stock rims. I also have one of the earyl KORE system (middle system... cant remember if it was pace or chase). I think you would have much more rubbing without the slight lift that a system like KORE provides.
