I live in California and have a 3500, SRW, HO, 6 Speed on order in Colorado (brother lives there). I placed the order on 2/28. I'm just trying to get a feel for how long the orders are running so I can try to plan my trip to pick it up accordingly. The last 6 digits in my VIN is 807207 if thats any help. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I have heard of trucks arriving after 4 weeks and taking as long as 10 weeks. Here in Fla our trucks get loaded on a ship in mexico and come across the gulf on mexico to tampa. Ship has to be full to sail. I ordered 2/14 and truck was built last week. Now I get to wait for my ship to come in. Oo. :D :D

wscott, I ordered my SRW 3500 SB Feb 17th, built in Saltillo Mexico March 5th and is now on a train, ETA to Washington State is Mar. 24, so about 5 weeks.

We ordered a HO 2500 automatic on 2/24 . the salesman call on Sat 3/15 and said it would be in to him the middle of the next week. Thats Wed 3/19. Less than 4 weeks. I don't know where it was built but on order day he said he thought St. Louis.

My boss ordered his 2500 HO automatic on 1/04 and it arrived 1/29 at the dealer. I ordered mine on 3/08, so I'm really hoping it comes in quick. The two other people who ordered 2500 HO automatics that I know personally, got theirs within a month as well. They must be churning them out!

Trucks that I order here in Oregon usually take about 7 to 10 weeks just depends on plant schedule and restrictions. Good luck on you new truck. Still very very close to invoice!!! Greg

wscott,

Ordered my 3500 HO SRW on Feb. 22nd and it's supposed to be in the rail yard in Spokane, WA today... and at the Dealer tomorrow. About 4 weeks for me... . looks like I'll be making a trip to Spokane next week. -Ken

wscott,

ordered my 3500, HO, 6spd, SRW, LWB on Feb 19, it arrived on March 19, just waiting for all the goodies to be added on!!! This is a Saltillo built truck, not sure about St. Louis trucks. If you can tell me the dealer name or gimme a VON(vehicle Order#) or a complete VIN(understand if you don't want give this out!) I can probably find out the status, but if you already have a VIN, I think the vehicle is built, it then takes 2-3 weeks(to get to MI) not sure about CO or CA.

Mine that I ordered Feb. 17th just arrived on the train in Spokane late last night. Ken B I wonder if ours were on the same train?? :) Mine came from Saltillo.

I have to wait for mine to be unloaded and put on a truck to come back to the Tri-Cities. It passed within 10 miles of my house Friday morning but won't be picking up 'til Monday I'm guessing. Right at 5 weeks like I predicted.

Vaughn

Vaughn,

It sounds like they were on the same train! I received a phone call from my salesman at Dishman Dodge in Spokane on Thursday stating that my truck wouldn't arrive in the rail yard until Friday afternoon or evening... it too was coming from Saltillo. Too bad the train couldn't have made a quick stop in the Tri-Cities! Small world! I probably won't pick mine up until the end of the week, so keep us posted on your first impressions, etc. Have fun!

update

I called the dealer tonight and he said that it had been already built, and was scheduled to be shipped 3/28. That would put it here in about 2-3 weeks! So, that would make it about 5 weeks from order to delivery for me.

Really getting depressed here, I ordered on Feb 28th and mine doesn't even show up as ordered from the dealer? I checked the website and used the dealer code, then looked at all trucks ordered but mine isn't even in there. This is a tomeygun deal so I figured things would move a little faster.

Correction I ordered on the 18th not the 28th. tomeygun said last week he would let me know as soon as he got a status and VIN. Since I have heard nothing I must assume that the DC website is accurate and my truck has not been put in the cue yet. Now I see guys are already getting their trucks. This is not a happy moment.

I found my order using the VON number and then with the VIN number I got from the web site found the details of my truck. Ordered same day as yours, released from factory yesterday 3-23. Estimated time to arrive at my dealer is 4-12. Playing around on the web site I found that I could look at all the vehicles coming into the delaer which sounds like you did the as well. My truck wasn't listed on the inbound list either. Keep trying your VON number in the "vehicle trace" selection.

If it has been ordered you will have a VON #, hence why its called a vehilce order number. Mine is a 8 didgt #. Dealer gave it to me just after I ordered it.

Still waiting

I ordered mine on 12/30. It went D1 in the beginning of March and was a week or so after. Now it has been sitting waiting for it's green card so it can leave Mexico and go to St. Louis :{ . I'm hoping to see it by the week of April the 12th. Total time 15-16 weeks  This really sucks I'm pretty #@$%! #@$%! #@$%! at DC for this one. After all this it better be perfect when it comes in. Hopefully you will have better luck that me. You would think that if it's a sold vehicle they could expedite the order better.
