I know of a truck that was made in the summer of 88.

I've noticed that the older W250/30s had the Cummins badge on top of the "Power Ram," and the D series had it under the "Ram" In 91, they changed the badging to RamX50 with the Cummins umder it, and added a smaller "Power" on top of it. CLear as mud, right? Glad I could contribute.



The LSD was an option in 92; Mom's has one. She took it in to a shop to get the pinion seal replaced, and the guy put some kind of red oil in it, and it burned up a set of new clutches I had put in 3 mo earlier. Of course, it wasnt HIS fault. No, cant be a mechanic's fault when the fluid HE installs burns up a LSD. Ignorant, inbred, cross-eyed, bucktoothed, average example of a southeast Missourian. God, I cant wait to get outta of this turd pile of Hades' outhouse.

You asked about the lowest milage on a gen one that I have seen. The lowest milage I have seen is on mine. I have 127,000 kms/App. 78,740 miles. I bought it with 123,000 kms on it two years ago.

Yeah, I hate it here. Not only are there no competent pickup (heavy duty variety) mechanics here, but I have a little business to take care of in the Stoddard County/ Nazi Court before I can leave for good. Watch the "Other" forum for details long about the 3-5 of March. That is my next court date, and maybe then it will all finally be over, (after 16mo) and I can rip 'em a new one. Dont want to leak out too many details right now, though. Not exactly on the up and up, if you get my drift.

I bought a brand new 1989 D250 in dec. 1988 it had the prospector 2 package. full hubcaps,crome bumper,4 speaker sterio,ram on hood,slider rear window,light with extracter cord under hood,cloth seat,cargo light,and some other things that i forget. Sold it in 1993 to get a 4x4 cummins had 108k miles. Never did find one and still don't have one. not hapy about it eather.
