Air ride-anyone in Denver area?

Ryan, in Illinois the spped limit signs actually state this. I often wonder if they would tack on another 10 mph to my ticket when I get caught.

They do here in Ohio, too. You're over 4t empty? I'm only at 7350ish with a full tank and no one in the cab.

I-77, I-71, it all sux. Only good thing about Ohio anymore is the Vet Hospital at Ohio State. I'm even beginning to wonder about the Cleveland Orchestra. Oh yeah, almost forgot the great governor.

Bashing Qualifications: Born, raised, lived in OH for 45 years; OSU grad. Now gone forever unless one of the dogs needs to go to OSU. :)

Ill agree that we do suck at driving here in Ohio :>

On my way back to Ohio from SDX ... . we were all kicking major rear on I70

there was me with my sleeping wife and boy ... then a box truck then in front of him was a garbage truck .....

All of a sudden Rubber is flying everywhere ... the Garbage truck had a major blow out Huge chunks flying in the air and small chunks were everywhere . .

When the Box truck seen the potental disaster ... he floored it and stratled the center lane right behind the rear drivers side set of duals that had blew on the garbage truck

... He took it all in the grill !!!!!!!!!!!

Some pices flew over my truck that had bounched off of the box truck . .

as the Garbage truck was heading to the right to pull over the box truck stayed on him till he was about off the road the the box truck just whipped it back on the road and continued on his way ...

Now Thats Awesome !!!!!!!

He removed the potential for something bad to happen .

I would like to think that in a similar situation I would be quick thinking enough to do the same.

Hate to think what would of happened if we were in Ohio

But I guess the garbage truck would of been going slower and maybe the event wouldnt of taken place ???

Well, I drive to Ohio and back once every year, and I can't ever recall having any particular problems other'n the construction around Columbus for a few years. Compared to Massachusetts drivers, folks in Ohio must be Mario Andrettis. Now, if you want an exercise in awfulness, come drive in the DC Metro area. All the fun of Los Angeles on smaller roads. It's not that the drivers are particularly putrescent (though turn signals and ashtrays seem to be too technical for most folks to use - makes me wonder how they got their cars started!), but that they allow so much housing growth around here on roads that a year earlier went past farms. If they'd just build the roads at the same time as the developments, we'd be better off, but they don't. Alright, rant off.

Oh, and I just wanted to share a story from my National Guard days - I had to drive up I95 to Ft. Devens Mass for training, and went thru NYC. Someplace in the Bronx, a car a few up from mine swerved into the Jersey barrier, bounced off and stopped. Guy gets out with blood running down his face to survey the damage. I watched a bunch of cars pulling around this guy honking at him, waving fists, yelling, flipping him off, while he just stood there bleeding. It's funny now, but man I felt bad for that guy then. No, I didn't stop - I was running late and didn't feel like getting abused either. But at least I didn't flip him off!

My truck was 7520 dry! Then I got spray-in beldliner, and did the rocker panels, added a 340+ lb camper shell. She's fat, no doubt.
